Typically, a director and directee meet for 45 minutes to an hour at least once a month. The session usually starts with a brief time of centering or silence. There really is no set agenda in spiritual direction. It revolves around prayerful listening and discernment as they relate to God’s working in a directee’s life. If there is a need to meet more or less frequently than once a month, this can always be arranged with your spiritual director.
