Wil Hernandez, Ph.D., Obl. O.S.B.
Wil is founder and executive director of CenterQuest (CQ) and serves as the program director of its School of Spiritual Direction (SSD). A trained spiritual director, supervisor, and online instructor, Wil teaches several online classes in the field of spiritual formation for various universities and seminaries in the U.S. He serves on the editorial board of Presence journal published by Spiritual Directors International (SDI). Wil is a lay Benedictine Oblate of Saint Andrew’s Abbey at Valyermo, CA and author of a trilogy on the spirituality of Henri Nouwen.
Zerah Goh
Zerah is currently the Pastoral Programmes Coordinator at Montfort Centre and is involved in retreat animation and spiritual direction. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the Singapore University of Social Sciences and holds a Certificate in Theology from the Catholic Theological Institute of Singapore. A pastoral worker, Zerah has experience working with children and youth in Singapore Boys’ Hostel, Boys’ Town, Catholic High School (Primary) and the Montfortian-Gabrielite Institutions in Singapore. Zerah is part of Cohort 5 of CenterQuest School of Spiritual Direction.
Marie de Guzman
Marie, from Metro Manila, is a graduate of CenterQuest School of Spiritual Direction (Cohort 4). She also underwent training in Ignatian retreat-giving and spiritual direction from the Center for Ignatian Spirituality-Philippines where she continues to receive ongoing formation. She is involved in organizing retreats for urban-poor groups and is currently facilitating faith-sharing with an online spiritual direction group named Sodale. Marie serves as the communications coordinator for CQ Asia.
Gerard Booy, D.D.
Gerard is originally from South Africa but has lived near the Vancouver area, British Columbia for more than twenty years now. As an ordained pastor with a doctorate in Old Testament studies, he has served in a variety of church contexts since 1990. He received a certificate in Spiritual Transformation through The Transforming Center after completing a two-year experience of spiritual formation in community. Trained under CenterQuest School of Spiritual Direction, he currently serves as one its mentors. Gerard offers individual and group spiritual direction, retreat facilitation, and guided contemplative worship experiences.
